MISSION
Improving Water Stewardship
The mission of the New Mexico Desalination Association is to support New Mexico communities and regions in identifying the best opportunities and ways to utilize New Mexico's brackish and saline water resources to enhance overall state freshwater stewardship, support long-term municipal and economic growth, and ecological sustainability. Desalination offers a viable, drought-proof solution to the water needs in the Land of Enchantment.
HISTORY
The New Mexico Desalination Association was formed in 2017 by a group of business and water industry leaders and university and national laboratory water researchers to support improved water stewardship in New Mexico through the cost-effective treatment and use of New Mexico's extensive brackish and saline ground water resources.
